Fill out a Chapter Event Creation Form (MRF) for your Forum training
Start with this step-by-step guide on How to Fill Out the Chapter Event Creation Form (MRF).
Access the Chapter Event Creation Form (MRF) through the Chapter Events Portal.
Ensure the form contains the following selections, for the Forum Training Commitment Subsidy, when filling it out:
1. Under “Basic Information: What are you creating?” elect "Chapter Forum Events."
2. This will open an additional field titled, “What forum event or training are you creating?”
a. Select either “Forum Fundamentals” for a Forum Fundamentals training or “Forum Moderator Training” for a Forum Moderator & Leadership Development training.
3. After selecting either of these two options, another field will open, “Are you applying for a Forum Training Commitment Subsidy for this training?” Select “Yes.”
4. At this point, you will need to acknowledge that you will build and manage the event in Cvent to obtain the Forum Training Commitment Subsidy. Acknowledge this by checking “I agree."
5. Fill out the rest of the Chapter Event Creation Form (MRF) per the details of your Forum training event.
a. Under the “Event Details” section, the Program Format will be pre-populated with “Chapter Event.” It is important that this field is unchanged, as this enables YPO to allocate the funds per your chapter as the host.
b. Program Event Type is “Forum Training.”
c. Focus is “Forum.”
d. Lifelong Learning Category is “Training > Forum Fundamentals.”
6. Ensure that the “Primary Chapter Host” is the chapter that is requesting the subsidy reimbursement.
Once you have completed the MRF, click 'Submit' at the bottom of the form. You’ll receive a confirmation email with your Event Code, a summary of the information you provided, and a direct link to access Cvent and start setting up your event. If you prefer, you can go to your events list on Cvent, click on the event name, and set up the event that way.
Within a couple of days, you will also receive an email from the YPO Forum Team indicating whether your training has been provisionally approved or denied for the subsidy and, if denied, why.
Trainings with unique qualifiers may be escalated to the Forum Committee (FoC) for review, which could delay approvals. In support of YPO’s “Forum Trained” Chapter Commitment, the Chapter should plan to move forward with the training irrespective of approval status, with the Chapter budget allocated as a contingency.
Build Your Event in Cvent
Follow this step-by-step guide on How to Set Up Your Event in Cvent. Find your Event Code in your MRF receipt confirmation email.
Host your training at the Chapter, using a Certified Forum Facilitator (CFF) who has opted into YPO’s Global Pricing.
Both Forum Fundamentals and Forum Moderator & Leadership Training must be facilitated by a Certified Forum Facilitator (CFF) who has opted into YPO’s Global Pricing.
