Usage
To meet the forum training chapter commitment, chapters need to ensure that all new YPO members are forum trained in the first 6 months of YPO membership.

Steps
For this metric, all primary members who joined YPO after 1 July 2024, need to complete forum basics or forum fundamentals training within their first 6-months of membership.
Identify members who require forum training
1. On the Chapter Management Hub, click into the Forum module or Manage.
2. Click on Forum Training.
3. Select the view Forum Training Commitment List (default view on tab).
4. On the Forum Trained column, identify members labeled as Not Trained.
Items to note on the Forum Training Commitment List view:
Column name YPO Tenure (months) calculates the members tenure in months. Members with over 6-months of tenure count against your chapter meeting the forum training commitment.
Columns Registered For and Training Date display registration information for upcoming YPO global sponsored forum trainings.
Ensure the new member attends forum training
Once you know which members still need to complete forum basics or forum fundamentals training, work with your chapter board to determine the best option for forum training.
Trainings sponsored by YPO: New members can attend forum basics through virtual live sessions or by attending a YPO new member onboarding event called Aperion. If the forum training is sponsored by YPO, the members forum training achievement will be updated automatically after their attendance is confirmed.
Trainings hosted by a chapter: Chapters can host or co-host forum fundamentals training. If the forum training is hosted by a chapter, the chapter manager or forum officer must enter the forum training achievement after the new primary member completes the training. Things to know
If a new primary member does not complete forum basics training within 6 months of joining, their chapter will not meet the forum training chapter commitment. However, once the member does complete the forum basics or forum fundamentals training (regardless of tenure), the chapter can meet the forum training commitment.
If your chapter has not had a new member join since 1 July 2024, your chapter will automatically meet the forum training commitment.
New members who joined YPO after 1 July 2024 are required to complete forum fundamentals/forum basics even if they have declined forum.
