CM Hub: Add and view forum norms

Each forum has its own forum norms. You can use the CM Hub to attach the norms to the forum in a secure environment.

Usage

Forums have their own norms and can be unique. You can add and store the forum norms on the forum record through the CM Hub and reference them later if needed.

Steps

Navigate to the chapter forum

1. Click into the Forums module.

2. Click on Chapter Forums tab and Chapter Forums view. Locate the forum in the list.

Add a forum norm

3. Click the drop down to the left of the forum name and select Add File.

4. In the pop-up window, complete the prompts:

  • Document type = Forum norms or other

  • File description

  • Date last updated

  • Upload your file

5. Click Next.

6. Click Finish.

Locate uploaded forum norms

Follow steps 1 and 2 above to navigate to the chapter forum.

3. Click on the Forum Name.

4. Click on Related.

5. Scroll down to Operational Documents. Click on Forum Norms.

6. Click on Preview.

7. You can preview the document on this screen or click Download if you need to share it with the forum members or forum moderator.


Things to know

  • Forum officers (current and elect) and chapter managers can access the documents uploaded to a forum. Chapter Forum Moderators do not have access, unless they are also serving on the chapter exco in a role that has CM Hub access.

  • To replace a file, follow the Add Forum Norm process above.
