Steps

Log in to your Canva account

1. Search for "website" in the search bar or under the YPO brand templates 

Select a Template

2. Browse through the templates and pick one that best suits your chapter’s needs.

Customize Your Website

3. Click on any placeholder text and replace it with your own content

Add Your Own Images and Videos

4. Insert images, videos, or other elements from the YPO Brand Library, or upload your own media.

Adjust the Design

5. Customize the layout by using YPO-approved fonts, colors, and styles to match your chapter’s branding.

Add a Navigation Menu

6. Make your website easy to navigate by adding a menu to guide visitors through the site.

Note: It’s important to name each slide of your design clearly so the navigation menu flows correctly.

Use YPO’s Brand Kit

7. Apply your chapter’s branding elements (logos, colors, and fonts) using the YPO Brand Kit to maintain consistency.

Preview Your Website

8. Before moving forward, check how your website looks on different devices (desktop or mobile)

Publish as Website

9. When you’re happy with your design, click the “Publish Website” button to move forward.

Choose the YPO Domain

10. Select the standard YPO domain: ypochapter.org

Retype the sub path

11. Choose a name for your website (e.g., your chapter’s name or a specific project)

Click "Publish Settings"

12. In the settings, add a short description of your website

Set Advanced Settings

13. Click "Advanced Settings" and ensure that Search Engine Visibility is disabled.

Publish Website

14. Once everything is set, click Publish Website to make it live!
