Canva: How to re-size via Canva

Learn how to use the Resize feature to change your design to any custom size

Usage

To resize a design in Canva, use the "Resize" feature, choose a pre-set size or a custom size, and then select whether to copy and resize or resize the current design.

Steps

Access the Resize Feature

1. On the menu bar above the editor, click the icon beside the "File" button, and then click "Resize". 

Choose Your New Size

2. Choose size:

  • Pre-set Sizes: Select from common design dimensions or browse by category. 

  • Custom Size: Enter your own dimensions in the "Width" and "Height" fields, and optionally lock or unlock the aspect ratio. 

  • Transform into Doc: If you want to resize and transform your design into a document, select "Transform into doc" and choose the desired design type. 

Select Pages (if applicable)

3. Choose which pages you want to resize from the "All pages" dropdown. 

Choose How to Resize

4. Choose how you prefer to resize:

  • Copy & Resize: This option creates a new design with the new size and copies your original design into it.

  • Resize this design: This option resizes the current design to the new dimensions.
