Usage

Forum is a bedrock of YPO, but for some members and spouses/partners they are not interested in being part of a forum. You can update their data so that as a chapter you know they have declined and also YPO knows that they are not interested in joining a forum.

Things to know

  • Members or spouses/partners can only be marked as "declined" if they were previously in "pending placement" forum status. This is because they cannot be updated as declined if they have an active forum affiliation.

  • If a member has an active forum affiliation, remove them from the forum and allow the system to update the member forum status to equal pending placement prior to marking the member as declined in forum.
