Chapter Officer Exception Request: One Form with Three Functions

1. Simplified access. The Chapter Officer Exception is an action on the Operations module in the Chapter Management Hub.

2. Get help. If you receive an error message when entering an officer, go to the form and select that error message to guide you to get help.

3. Streamline waiver process. The new form is your first and only step in submitting a Global Succession Committee (GSC) waiver.

4. Core officer roles entered AFTER 1 Nov: Request Chapter and Regional Committee (CRC) approval for core chapter officers entered after 1 November to count for chapter commitments and chapter health metrics.


Steps

How to submit a request for an exception or waiver.

1. Go to Chapter Management Hub under Operations and click the Actions arrow and select Request Officer Exception.

2. Complete the form based on the error message you received when you first attempted to enter the officer in the chapter management hub.

3. Click Submit.


Things to know

  • The YPO Global Board outlines policies for the organization's long-term health. Exceptions and waivers should be rare, your chapters should focus on eligible champions.

  • Chapter elect officers need to be entered on or before 1 November in the chapter management hub.

Timelines

1. GSC Waivers: Exceptions requiring GSC approval can take up to 6 weeks.

2. Data Entry Restrictions: The contact position will be updated in the Chapter Management Hub within 5-10 business days.

3. CRC Exceptions: The review process will take up to 3-4 weeks, with steps at the regional level.

Note: No waivers/exceptions will be accepted after 31 May.
