    • Only current or elect chapter chairs (CCs) and chapter membership officers (CMOs) can approve or deny a grace request.

    • Chapter managers cannot approve or deny requests on behalf of chapter officers.

  • Grace takes the place of certification only. The grace rules are:

    • Six years of qualified membership (excluding joining year) is for unlimited grace.

    • Three years of grace are earned after two qualified years (excluding joining year).

    • A member may request to go on grace at any point of time during the fiscal year; provided, however, grace periods correspond to the beginning of the fiscal year (i.e., 1 July) for which the member does not qualify.
